Direct Roving or single-end roving is a kind of continuous fiber made by melting mineral powder and directly drawing through the bushing, with silane sizing coated. It is soft, usually for continuous usage.
Linear density range: 100tex - 9600tex
Main applications: for textile, filament winding, pultrusion processes, multiple resin compatibility - UP, VE, EP etc.
Typical finished products are: wind energy, pultruded bar, window frame, ladder, pipe and tank, cable core, woven roving and chemical resistant gratings, etc.
